Data Storage & Deletion

Compoose stores your work and settings on your Mac. These files are managed by the app and are not intended to be edited directly.

If iCloud Sync is enabled, your projects, sheets, and images are also stored in your private iCloud account so they remain available across your Macs.

Original and imported recordings, temporary recovery copies, and downloaded AI components stay on your Mac. They are not stored in iCloud by Compoose. Saved transcripts and summaries can sync as part of your sheets.

Deleting a project, section, group, sheet, or image removes it from that Mac. When iCloud Sync is enabled, the deletion is also applied to your other Macs. A Mac that was offline applies the deletion the next time it syncs.

• Delete your work from inside Compoose so the change can sync to your other Macs.
• Removing Compoose from your Mac may not remove all locally stored data.
• Contact support@gneffin.com if you need help removing all Compoose data from a Mac.
